You want to install an air conditioning and heating system but you don’t know what grant you are entitled to? Here is a practical guide to the grants currently available. The governments of Quebec and Canada have set up several programs to help consumers acquire efficient systems at lower costs.

LogisVert Grant
The LogisVert Heat Pump Efficiency grant program offered by Hydro-Québec gives you up to $120 per 1000 BTU/h at -8°C of heating.

 

 

Chauffez Vert Grant
The Chauffez Vert grant program offered by the Government of Quebec offers you a grant of $1,275 for the replacement of your oil furnace with an electric system.

 

 

Affordable Conversion Program
The Affordable Conversion Program from Oil to Heat Pump offered by the Government of Canada offers you a $10,000 grant for the replacement of your oil furnace with an eligible heat pump system. This program is available to low-income households.

Bi-Energy Grant
The grant to switch to bi-energy offered by Énergir covers 80% of the costs related to the purchase and installation of equipment up to a maximum of $7,300, and rewards your decarbonization efforts.

 

Canada Greener Homes Loan
The Canada Greener Homes Loan provides 10-year, interest-free financing to help people in Canada improve the energy efficiency and comfort of their homes by installing a qualifying heat pump.

 

Fuel oil grant city of Laval
The City of Laval offers a grant of up to $2,000 for the replacement of a fuel oil heating system with a system powered exclusively by electricity or using renewable energy.
