Description

Thanks to its higher filtration level, the 10x20x2 Aérostar MERV 11 Filters will filter particles much smaller than a filter with a lower MERV. The higher the MERV, the more efficient the filtration level. Several studies have shown that air filtration is the best way to improve indoor air quality. So it’s the MERV of the filter that will determine whether the filter is effective or not. Good indoor air quality significantly reduces the symptoms of asthma and allergies, especially in children. The air filter media is glued to a metal grid on the side of the outgoing air, which prevents floating while keeping the filter and pleats uniform. The filter is placed in a cardboard box which is moisture proof which makes their design so unique. The filter supports are integrated on the filter frame, the media is then glued on each part of the frame, preventing any possibility of air leakage. The 10x20x2 Filters are made with 100% synthetic materials and they comply with the ASHRAE 52.2 standard.

Furnace filters sold in stores load much faster than Aérostar filters which means that you have to change them faster and can cause breakage on your HVAC equipment. Aérostar 10x20x2 filters are equipped with a different filtration process, they accumulate heavy and more restrictive particles at the bottom of the folds, leaving the sides of the filter open, which allows a much more efficient filtration during the use of the filter.
